Introduction

Some women drip when they cough, sneeze or are active. Others suffer from urinary incontinence because their urge to urination is so sudden and powerful that they do not have the chance to reach a toilet.

In everyday life, the anxiety for urinary incontinence causes a number of problems. Even small things –for example going shopping or visiting family – becomes enormous. A trip abroad is cancelled and so is the trip to the cinema or the theatre. You isolate yourself from fear of not reaching a toilet in time. The result is a strongly limited everyday with reduced life quality.
