Approximately 10 – 15 % of the population has a high blood pressure – but only half of them knows. Most people cannot feel that their blood pressure is too high, which is unfortunate. If you have a too high blood pressure, you have a risk – in a couple of years – to get a blood clot in the hart or brain followed by death or disability.

The high blood pressure is not the only problem. Many other aspects – including your life style – has significant impact on if you get a blood clot in the brain or heart. It has shown that many people with too high blood pressure has also an unhealthy way of living.
